The word "Gospel" literally means Good News — the message that God loves you and has given everything to make you His own. This is the bright hope behind everything we do, bringing real peace and joy. His transforming work gives both eternal life and fullness in this world, and that Gospel is the motivation, the solution, and the power behind Foundations Kenya's ministry to children in desperate situations.
Jesus loves the little children — and each one has inherent value in His eyes. We want every child to know they are dearly loved, created for a purpose, and gifted uniquely to offer the world.

EDUCATION: the pathway
Jesus loves the little children, and each one has inherent value in His eyes. A Christ-centered education tells a child from a distressed community exactly what the Gospel tells them: you are created for a purpose, you have unique gifts and talents, and you have a future worth walking toward.
At Christlike Academy, children in the Misiri community of Limuru, Kenya learn in classrooms where faith and learning are woven together - and they earn national exam results that place them among the top students in Kenya. An education rooted in Christ doesn't just change a child's circumstances. It changes what that child believes is possible.

A hungry child cannot learn, cannot grow, and cannot hear the hope of the Gospel over the ache of an empty stomach. So feeding children is not an add-on to our ministry - it is part of loving them the way Jesus does, body and soul together.
Every school day, Christlike Academy serves hundreds of reliable, nourishing meals to children who would otherwise go without. For many, it is the most dependable food they will eat all day - a hot plate that says, without a single word: you are seen, you are valued, and you are dearly loved.
